Myanmar athletes go all out in 18th ASIAN Games 2018

Myanmar athletes are participating in a variety of events: wushu, taekwondo, shooting, boat race and sepak takraw, in the 18th Asian Games 2018,
which is being held from 18 August to 2 September in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
Myanmar’s athletes tried their best in yesterday’s matches.
In the taekwondo demonstration contest, Myanmar’s athlete San Shine Htet lost to the Indonesian fighter with a 1.73 point difference.
Also in men’s wushu contest, Myanmar’s Htet Han Kyaw stood at 13th place with a total of 8.94 points, while in the women’s’ contest under the same categories, Myat Noe Eain stood at 11th place, while Aye Thitsar Myint garnered the 10th place.
In the 10M Air Pistol Mixed team contest, Myanmar’s Ye Tun Naung and May Moe Wha stood at 13th place after collecting 752 points.
In the women’s double boat race, Myanmar secured the next stage of the qualification.
In the morning women’s sepak takraw contest, Myanmar beat Indonesia 2-1 while in the afternoon of the same event, Myanmar lost to Viet Nam 1-2. —Myanmar News Agency
