Myanmar attends 19th Asia Media Summit

The 19th Asia Media Summit (AMS) taking part in Myanmar delegation in progress in Malaysia.

The Myanmar delegation led by Director-General U Ye Naing of Myanma Radio and Television attended the opening ceremony of the 19th Asia Media Summit (AMS) in Malaysia on 3 September.
It was attended by more than 50 representatives from media organizations in Asia, the Pacific Region, Africa, and Europe.
During the high-level session for media, delegates discussed different topics, such as shifting global dynamics, opportunities and challenges in the creative content industry, and strengthening media resilience.
The 19th Asia Media Summit and associated meetings were held from 1 to 5 September in Malaysia by AIBD under the theme of “Media: The New Odyssey”, focusing on the role of media, opportunities and challenges in the creative content industry, strengthening media resilience, using AI to produce engaging, accurate content that reaches all audiences and elevation of the creative media industry.
In the evening, a gala dinner was hosted, and awards were presented to the winners of the AIBD International Media Awards.
On 4 September, the second day of the 19th AMS discussed different topics such as Inclusive Broadcasting-Empowering Diverse Voices, Capitalizing on Emerging Broadcasting Technologies and AI: Technology Trust and Transformation.
Summit attendees will visit Batus Caves and TRX-The Exchange on 5 September.
Cambodia will host the upcoming summit. — MNA/KTZH
