Myanmar attends briefing of 3rd plenary session of 20th Central Committee of CPC

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Daw Khaing Su Linn, Myanmar Consul-General in Nanning, attended a briefing on the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held in Nanning on 16 August.
Mr Liu Ning, Secretary of the CPC Guangxi Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi People’s Congress, provided an overview of the Third Plenary Session at Liyuan Resort.
During the briefing, Secretary Liu Ning outlined the goals, objectives, and reform measures adopted over the next five years, as well as the plans to be implemented by the Guangxi government.
In the subsequent discussion with Consuls-General, the Myanmar Consul-General expressed confidence that China will achieve the strategies and policies approved at the meeting. She also reaffirmed Myanmar’s commitment to continuing its cooperation with China as both a good neighbour and a strategic partner, particularly in implementing the reform measures and enhancing bilateral relations. — ASH/TMT
