Myanmar avocado association to conduct cosmetic course in post-COVID-19 era

The department’s further objectives for the avocado growers in the post-COVID-19 era is to provide courses regarding avocado cultivation under the Good Agricultural Practices, the cosmetic technology based on avocado oil and avocado recipe.

Myanmar Avocado Producers and Exporters Association will offer a cosmetic course with extensive knowledge of cosmetic formulation, manufacturing and marketing based on natural avocado oil, U Myo Nyunt, vice-chair of the association said.
At present, the avocado market is experiencing a slowdown as the tourism industry is suspended. That is why the cosmetic course based on avocado oil will be conducted. The cosmetics such as body lotion and soaps are planned to be manufactured with the use of avocado oil.
“Those interested trainees can enrol on this cosmetic course. Those who want to set up a business and are interested in cosmetic manufacturing will be prioritized. The value-added products are to be sold,” he elaborated.
