Myanmar Charge d’Affaires calls on new Speaker of Vietnam’s National Assembly

U Soe Ko Ko, Charge d’Affaires ad interim to Vietnam, paid a courtesy call on Mr Tran Thanh Man, the new Speaker of Vietnam’s National Assembly, along with heads of missions from the ASEAN embassies and the Timor-Leste Embassy at the National Assembly Building of Vietnam on 13 June, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Mr Tran Thanh Man expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory messages from leaders of the ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste. At the same time, the heads of missions extended their congratulations to Mr Tran Thanh Man on assuming office as the new Speaker of Vietnam’s National Assembly. The Speaker also expressed his commitment to enhancing collaboration between the Vietnamese National Assembly and its ASEAN counterparts. — ASH/MKKS
