Myanmar-China association donates disinfection channels to YCDC

Myanmar-China Exchange and Cooperation Association donated disinfection channels to help the prevention of the COVID-19 to Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) on 4 June, it is learnt.

At the ceremony, YCDC Vice-chairman and Vice Mayor U Soe Lwin received the machines to be used in disinfections.
The donation ceremony was held in YCDC meeting hall-1 at 2 pm on 4 June attended by YCDC Vice-chairman and Vice Mayor U Soe Lwin, Secretary Daw Hlaing Maw Oo, Joint Secretary U Thant, committee member U Win Myint Than, the head U Nyan Lin Soe, legal advisor U Kyaw Thet Lin and U Aung Sand Myint and U Aye Min on behalf of Daw Khin Khin Lay, the chairperson of Myanmar-China Exchange and Cooperation Association.

At the ceremony, the vice mayor gave the thankful speech while the legal advisor U Aung San Myint explained their activities and objectives of the donation on behalf of the chairperson of Myanmar-China Exchange and Cooperation Association. Then, Vice Mayor U Soe Lwin gave the certificate of appreciation to U Aung San Myint.

The association donated two disinfection channels worth K 1.8 million to YCDC with an aim for the YCDC staff and public who come to the YCDC office for their office work.

The association donated continuously the daily allowances towards the protection against Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). In the third week of May, the association donated surgical masks, PPE suits and disinfection channels worth Ks 18 million to Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee. — Myint Maung (Translated by Hay Mar)
