Myanmar-China economic expo pre-dinner held in Nay Pyi Taw

The dinner for the Myanmar-China (Lancang) Economic Expo that will be held from 25 to 28 May in Myanmar, in progress yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Myanmar-China (Lancang) Economic Expo will take place from 25 to 28 May at the Myanmar International Convention Centre II in Nay Pyi Taw and the dinner was held at Horizon Lake View Hotel yesterday, the eve of the expo.
Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister U Win Shein, Union Ministers U Aung Naing Oo, Dr Kan Zaw, U Ko Ko Hlaing, U Min Naung, U Hla Moe, U Khin Maung Ye, Dr Charlie Than and Jeng Phang Naw Taung, the minister of economic affairs of the Shan State government, the chairman of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Body, the deputy ministers, the mayor of Lancang City, departmental officials from both countries, business associations and businessmen attended the meeting.
Then, Union Commerce Minister U Aung Naing Oo gave a welcome speech and the mayor of Lancang City returned the words of thanks.
During the dinner, Myanmar and Chinese artistes performed dances, and the Union Minister and the mayor of Lancang City honoured the artistes. About 300 businessmen from Myanmar and China were present at the dinner, and businesspersons of the two countries discussed business cooperation. — MNA/KZW
