Myanmar citizens repatriated from UAE after facing difficulties

Two Myanmar nationals, Ma Ei Ei Htun and Ma Ei Zin Htun, who encountered hardships while working in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, were successfully repatriated to Myanmar. The Myanmar government shows its commitment to the welfare of its citizens abroad by facilitating their return under challenging circumstances.
The Myanmar consulate-general in the UAE, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant embassies, worked diligently to ensure the safe return of the two individuals. They left Dubai on 7 August and arrived in Yangon at 10:10 pm via a flight from Dubai to Yangon.
The government continues to support Myanmar citizens facing difficulties overseas, and the timely repatriation of those nationals reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to assist its people in need. Individuals and their families expressed sincere appreciation for the support provided by the Myanmar government, the consulate-general and the embassy in ensuring their safe return to Myanmar. — Nyein Thu (MNA)/KZL
