BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is feeble over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th September, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Shan and Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (1 – 4) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from Central Myanmar areas.
