Myanmar delegation arrives back after BRICS Media Summit, tour in Moscow

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visits one of significant sites in Moscow — ancient museum — on 16 September.

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited the significant sites of Moscow, such as the Kremlin palace, ancient museums, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Red Square, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, and religious temples on 16 September during the visit to Moscow for BRICS Media Summit.
Moreover, the Union minister met with the Centre for Public and Business Cooperation with the Republic of Myanmar and clarified the Myanmar-Russia cooperation, the actual situation of Myanmar, floods in Myanmar, efforts of the Head of the State and officials in conducting recuse work and rehabilitation processes, and preparations for enumeration of population and household census.
on 17 September, the Union minister visited the Myanmar Embassy in Moscow and met the ambassador and embassy staff. During the meeting, they discussed the actual situation of the country, the need to weigh the fake news and the efforts of the Prime Minister in education, health, relief and rehabilitation measures, and State security.
At noon, the Union minister informally met Mr Sergey Vladimirovich, regional head of South East Asia of Roscongress, at Plaza Garden and discussed the Myanmar-Russia media cooperation plan.
The Myanmar delegation arrived in Yangon from Moscow yesterday evening. — MNA/KTZH
