Myanmar delegation attends 7th ASEAN+3 Meeting, 7th East Asia Education Ministers’ Summit

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe attended the 7th ASEAN Plus Three Meeting held at Buriram Chang Arena in Thailand yesterday.
Thailand hosted the event under the theme “Transforming Education in the Digital Age”, and it was attended by representatives from ASEAN plus three (China, Japan, and Korea).
During the event, the representatives and the ASEAN Deputy Secretary-General discussed the digital education system in China, Japan, and Korea, as well as further cooperation in education among ASEAN plus three countries. They then approved the joint declaration and posed for a document photo.
Moreover, the representatives from dialogue countries of East Asia such as Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Korea, Russia and the US attended the 7th East Asia Education Ministers’ Summit, and they discussed the digital education system and further cooperation.
