At the invitations of Mr Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Mr Sergei Aleinik, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, a Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs left the Mandalay International Airport by the Myanmar Airways International (MAI) flight to Novosibirsk, the Russian Federation in the evening of 12 September 2023. The Myanmar delegation will be paying working visits to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus from 12 to 17 September 2023.
The Myanmar delegation was seen off at the Mandalay International Airport by officials concerned of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA
