The ministry is also working with ASEAN Secretariat and AHA Centre to conduct the Human Resource Development Project for Humanitarian Assistance for Myanmar and organizing the Myanmar Disaster Response Team and conducting training courses are the priorities among the procedures of the project.
The Union minister then talked about new subjects to be added in the syllabus to improve the local capabilities and stainable development of socio-economy, disaster-related activities of Myanmar disaster response team and improvement of an individual trainee.
Deputy minister U Aung Tun Khine also highlighted the supportive facts of training to be conducted in the respective regions and proper cooperation as mid-level ministry staff who operate disaster management and representatives who serve humanitarian assistance join the training.
A total of 42 trainees joined the six-day training which will end on 18 December. — MNA
