Myanmar products showcased at 2024 Korea Import Fair in Seoul

Myanmar Ambassador U Thant Sin and ambassadors from 47 embassies formally open Korea Import Fair 2024.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the 21st Korea Import Fair 2024 was held in Seoul, South Korea from 4 to 6 July.
The exhibition took place at the Convention & Exhibition Centre (COEX) in Seoul, South Korea. The Korea Import Fair is an annual event jointly organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea and the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA).
The fair is projected to introduce domestic products and export products from foreign countries to Korean importers and member companies of the KOIMA. In the event, exporters and companies from abroad exhibit agricultural produce as well as Industry 4.0 technologies.
The Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Seoul showcased goods such as coffee, pulses, dried shrimp, honey, and Myanmar fine art products, among others, at the fair. Myanmar Ambassador U Thant Sin cut the ribbon to open the fair together with ambassadors from 47 foreign embassies based in Seoul. — ASH/TKO/ED
