Myanmar face 0-3 loss to Singapore in Suzuki Cup opener

Myanmar national men’s football team faced a 0-3 defeat to host Singapore national team in the opening match of the ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup yesterday.
Myanmar line-up includes goalkeeper Myo Min Latt, David Htan, Nyein Chan, Zaw Ye Tun, Kyaw Win Moe, Suan Lam Mang, Hein Htet Aung, Hlaing Bo Bo, Yan Naing Oo, Maung Maung Lwin and Aung Kaung Mann.
Singapore team played better than Myanmar and team Myanmar made many mistakes from the start.
Winning goals for Singapore were scored by Safuwan Baharudin at 30 minute-mark, and Ikhsan Fandi at 37 and 45 minute-marks.
Myanmar team got fewer chances to score and Singapore team maintained the winning result until the end of the match.
The win gives higher confident level to team Singapore. Myanmar will next play against Timor-Leste on 8 December.—GNLM
