Myanmar families in Tokyo donate a set of Patient Monitor equitment to Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital on 29 July.  PHOTO: MNA

The Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS), Ambassador of Myanmar to Japan U Myint Thu and the embassy families donated a K3.5 million worth Patient Monitor to the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) yesterday. Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Aung Lynn Aye made an opening remark on the donation ceremony. Political Department Director-General U Aung Ko explained the reason of the donation. Hospital officials then received the Patient Monitor, and returned the certificate of honour.Professor Dr Ye Thurein (Neurosurgeon) expressed thanks to the donors. —MNA (Translated by Maung Maung Swe)
