Myanmar Fire Brigade donates water daily

Myanmar Fire Brigade has been donating water to areas which have encountered water scarcity on daily basis. Respective township fire brigade members have helped people who are in need of water in urban areas as well as in villages.

Water donations were made to households and monasteries in need of water for domestic use in Mandalay Region, Taninthayi Region, Ayeyawady Region, Magway Region, Mon State and Shan State, including Yangon Region.

On 11 May, respective township members donated water to wards in Taninthayi Region’s Dawei township, households in Nantpalin village in Mandalay Region’s NyaungU township, and a monastery in Yanmyoaung ward in Mon State’s Ye township.

On 10 May, water donation was provided in wards in Taninthayi Region’s Dawei township, houses in Kangyidaunt township in Ayeyawady Region, houses in Dagon Myothit (South) in Yangon Region, Ywathit village in Magway Region’s Sinbaungwe township, Shwehline village in Mandalay Region’s NyaungU township, and Minkongyi village in Ayeyawady Region’s Pathein township.

As of April, Myanmar Fire Brigade members have provided water donations to all areas suffering from water shortages, according to Myanmar Fire Brigade. – MT/ZS
