Myanmar govt assists safe return of citizens facing hardships abroad

The government has been actively working to repatriate Myanmar nationals facing hardships overseas. In close cooperation with the Myanmar Consulate-General and relevant foreign embassies, the authorities strive to ensure the safe return of citizens experiencing difficulties abroad.
The Myanmar Consulate-General coordinated with the Immigration Department in Dubai to repatriate a Myanmar citizen, Ma Moe Sandar Tun, who had encountered difficulties in Abu Dhabi, the UAE. She arrived back in Yangon at 10:15 pm on 15 September on a flight from Dubai to Yangon.
The government, alongside Myanmar embassies and consulates-general, continues to repatriate nationals who face challenges while working abroad. Ma Moe Sandar Tun and her family expressed their gratitude to the government, the Myanmar Embassy, and the Myanmar Consulate-General for their efforts. — Nyein Thu (MNA)/TRKM
