Myanmar-India holds Electricity Sector Steering Committee meeting

According to the Memorandum of Understanding on Electricity Sector Cooperation signed between Myanmar and India, the fifth Myanmar-India Electricity Sector Joint Steering Committee (JSC) meeting was held at the Ministry of Electric Power in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw of the Ministry of Electric Power, Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Deputy Minister of Electricity, India and officials, members of the joint steering committee from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Science and Technology and relevant high-ranking officials were present at the meeting.
In the meeting, they coordinated and discussed issues of cooperation in the electricity sector. — MNA/TS
