Myanmar, India to enhance security measures in border region

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Gautam Mukhopadhaya at the hall of Bayintnaung Guest House, here, Thursday.
They discussed cooperating between two armed forces of Myanmar and India in enhancing security measures at border region, and development of production, agriculture, transport and trade between the two countries.
Also present at the call were Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers of the office of the Commander-in-Chief and the Military Attaché of India.
