Myanmar, Indian businessmen concentrate on development of bilateral trade, investment

(1)Mandalay, 7 June — Mandalay Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Mandalay-based Indian Consulate General jointly staged the roundtable discussion on India-Myanmar Trade and Investment at Sedona Hotel at the corner of 26th and 66th streets in Ayechanthazan Township on 5 June.
Mandalay Region Minister for Planning and Economy U Aung Zan spoke about economic cooperation and investment in the region and easing the restrictions for development of border trade between the two countries.
Indian Consul General Dr Nandakuma explained export of Myanmar products by Mandalay Region to Indian market, cooperation in development of IT, and bilateral trade promotion and investment matters.
Chairman of MRCCI clarified cooperation in seeking Indian market for exporting Myanmar products and Indian products to upper Myanmar market.
Deputy Director U Swe Tint Kyu reported on agricultural produces and chemical free vegetables and fruits to the market. Thiha Ko Ko (Mandalay)
