Myanmar-Indonesia collaboration enhances energy, EVs, edible oil, and mining

According to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), cooperation will be increased in the renewable energy, electric vehicles, edible oil, and mining sectors between Myanmar and Indonesia.
Discussions to increase cooperation between Myanmar and Indonesia were held at the afternoon tea party that took place at the Indonesian Embassy (Yangon) on 13 August between members of ASEAN-BAC Myanmar led by UMFCCI President U Aye Win (Chair, ASEAN-BAC Myanmar) and Mr Dicky Komar, Charge d’affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in Yangon.
In addition, the discussion will be continued at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2023, and members of ASEAN-BAC Myanmar representing the private sector, led by UMFCCI President U Aye Win (Chair, ASEAN-BAC Myanmar), will attend the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2023 to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 3 and 4 September 2023. — ASH/CT
