Myanmar has received an invitation to establish gem galleries at the International Jewellery Show scheduled for 5 to 8 January 2024 in Mumbai, India. This event will be organized by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India. The allocation of space for Myanmar’s showcase will depend on the number of entrepreneurs from Myanmar who intend to participate.
Interested entrepreneurs, along with associated organizations under the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), are required to register their names by 2 October. Interested parties have been informed to get in touch with the Exhibition Division of the Membership Department under the UMFCCI. They should provide the respective company’s letterhead with the participant’s name, position, the company or organization’s name, email address, and phone number. — TWA/CT
