Myanmar, Nepal discuss strengthening cooperation in tourism, tech, and trade

Myanmar and Nepal are working to enhance cooperation in several key sectors, including tourism, technology service, trade, and direct flights, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A meeting to discuss these initiatives was held at the Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 26 August. During the meeting, U Myo Myint Maung, Myanmar Ambassador-designate to Nepal, met Mr Shiva Kumar Agrawal, President of the Nepal-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce, and its members. The discussion focused on promoting and expanding collaboration in areas such as direct flights, tourism, technology service, trade, infrastructure, health, and education, as well as cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Myanmar and Nepal. — ASH/TMT
