Myanmar participates in 57th ASEAN Day Celebration in Indonesia

Myanmar Permanent Representative to ASEAN U Aung Myo Myint attended the 57th ASEAN Day celebration and the celebration of the ASEAN traditional food in Jakarta, Indonesia on 8 August, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
U Aung Myo Myint, along with other distinguished guests, explored the Traditional Food Festival organized by the ASEAN Women Circle in observance of the 57th ASEAN Day at the ASEAN Secretariat. The Permanent Mission of Myanmar also participated in the festival, serving traditional Myanmar foods and drinks.
The event was officiated by Dr Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, and attended by Mr Retno L P Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Mr Airlangga Hartarto, as well as Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, Ambassadors of ASEAN external partners, representatives from ASEAN entities, and invited guests.
