The Myanmar delegation headed by Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney-General Dr Htein Lin Oo of the Ministry of Legal Affairs attended the 62nd Annual Session of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 9 to 13 September.
During the event, he mentioned the Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP), the signing of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), drafting the prevention of water pollution law (draft) and other matters.
Moreover, the Myanmar delegation exchanged views on the work plans of the International Law Commission (ILC), the law of the sea, international humanitarian law, environmental protection and sustainable development and international airspace. — MNA/KTZH
