Myanmar Police Force holds graduation for Sub-Inspectors

Myanmar Police Force Chief Police Lt-Gen Aung Win Oo attended a graduation ceremony of Myanmar Police Force Sub-Inspector Training Course No 93 Ye Thuya Company held at Mandalay Region, PyinOoLwin Township Police Officer Training School parade ground yesterday morning.
First, Myanmar Police Force Chief took the salute of the graduating cadet sub-inspectors and inspected the graduating company. Afterwards graduating cadet sub-inspectors marched past with slow and quick marches and saluted the Myanmar Police Force Chief. Outstanding Cadet, Outstanding Training, Outstanding in Computer, Outstanding in English and Outstanding in Law awards were then presented to Cadet Sub-Inspectors Phyo Wei La, Aung Myat Ko Ko, Than Naing Oo (1), Tin Lay Nwe and Theint Ei Mon respectively.
In his address to the graduating cadets Myanmar Police Force Chief said the graduating cadet sub-inspectors are the junior officers or junior leaders of Myanmar Police Force and are thus required to become a trusted leader who’ll lead the police personnel in a correct way ensuring that their sub-ordinates follow his/her leadership as one.
You all are required to understand well the leadership quality, ethics and morality to abide by and set aims to achieve and combine the collective strength of the police personnel with your skills and ability to successfully achieve and implement the 4 aims and 6 duties. During the time when Myanmar Police Force is being raised to international level in all ways, all need to have full personal capacities and abilities and thus required trainings and exercises need to be conducted continuously.
Policewomen Officers will serve in security, crime prevention, crime fighting and rule of law sectors in the same way as Policemen Officers. You all need to do your works systematically to calm the public fear and insecurity from new forms of crimes, terror by group and instabilities due to advance in technology. Through your works you all must fulfill the hopes and expectation of the public for a safe and secure life. While the State is providing material inputs to have a more modern, developed and full capacity police force in the future, you all must do your part by seeking to increase your knowledge and skills. Study and practice continuously and sharpen your skills and hone your knowledge. The work of the Police Force should have the cooperation and participation of the people and must be in line with the practice of democracy. Obtain the trust of the people by providing your service according to laws, rules and regulations. The menace of drug is a problem handled at the State level and drug eradication and prevention works should be continued as a national duty. Work and perform in accordance to the good practices of the Police Force. Do what you are assigned to do according to prescribed ethics. Raise the honor and dignity of the Police Force said the Chief of Myanmar Police Force.
The graduation ceremony was also attended by Myanmar Police Force Deputy Chief (security/crime) Police Maj-Gen Aung Naing Thu and senior Police Officers. A total of 321 cadet officers of which 208 were policemen and 113 were policewomen graduated, it is learnt. —MNA(Translated by Zaw Min)
