Myanmar officials sent 8 Thai citizens back to their own countries as they wanted to go back home from their works in Tachilek Township in eastern Shan State yesterday. Three Thai men and five women were transferred to Thai authorities at the Myanmar-Thai border friendship bridge (2) after undertaking medical tests.
They arrived in Tachilek before the outbreak of COVID-19 as the factory workers. Thai authorities accepted their citizens and carried out COVID-19 tests by mobile medical equipment.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
