The government has been making efforts to bring back Myanmar nationals who are encountering difficulties abroad by coordinating with the Myanmar Consulate-General and relevant embassies to ensure their safe return to Myanmar.
The Myanmar Embassy in Saudi Arabia communicated with the authorities of Riyadh to repatriate two Myanmar female citizens, Ma Sabai Phyu and Ma Ni Ni Win, who faced hardships in Mecca and Howtat Bani Tamin by flight on 3 September, and they arrived in Yangon yesterday afternoon.
On arrival in Myanmar, the returnees shared their experiences they encountered in other countries and thanked the government, Myanmar Embassy and Consulate-General for helping them. — Nyein Thu (MNA)/KTZH
