Myanmar Showcase 2023 held in Cairo, Egypt

The Myanmar Showcase 2023, featuring Myanmar’s traditional culture and art, took place at the Myanmar Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, on 30 November, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The purpose of the Myanmar Showcase 2023 was to enhance Egyptians’ awareness of Myanmar, including its history, ethnic diversity, culture, agricultural produce, traditional food, natural beauty, the harmonious coexistence of different religions, preparations for the repatriation of those displaced from Rakhine State, and the state of domestic political development. By organizing the event in this manner, bilateral ties between Myanmar and Egypt are expected to be strengthened, and people from both countries will become more acquainted.
The exhibition featured various galleries showcasing Myanmar’s traditional culture and art. Additionally, there were photo displays illustrating Egypt-Myanmar bilateral relations, the Myanmar government’s efforts to welcome back internally displaced persons, and domestic political developments. Traditional Myanmar dishes such as coconut milk noodles, fried Mandalay beans, fried rice paper rolls, Shwe Yin Aye dessert, and banana pudding were served to guests.
