Myanmar stamps class on Timor-Leste with 7-0 victory in AFF tourney

Myanmar women’s national football team made a big 7-0 win over Timor-Leste in the AFF Women’s Championship 2022 at Binan Stadium in Laguna, the Philippines yesterday.
Myanmar got an icebreaker in the 15-minute mark and the opener was scored by Myanmar star player Naw Htet Htet Wai.
Next, the second and third goals were scored by July Kyaw at 19 and 32 minutes.
The fourth goal was scored by team captain Khin Malar Tun at 38 minutes and Wai Phoo Eain scored the fifth goal at 45 minutes.
Myanmar led the match with 5-0 at the first half end.
Timor-Leste more relied on their massive defence play in the second half.
The sixth and seventh goals for team Myanmar was scored at 59 and 74 minutes by Myat Noe Khin.
Myanmar celebrated with a big 7-0 victory over Timor-Leste in the final whistle.
Myanmar will next play against Cambodia on 9 July in their group match of the AFF tourney. — GNLM
