Myanmar strives to forge peace and stability in border region of India

Preparations are ongoing to hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Shri Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser (NSA) of India, at the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries, the political progress of Myanmar, preparations to hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election, and measures of forging peace and stability in the border region. — MNA/TTA
