Myanmar sweeps gold, silver medals at Butterfly & SISB Thailand Table Tennis Open

Myanmar’s table tennis team achieved impressive results at the Butterfly & SISB Thailand Table Tennis Open and secured one gold medal and two silver medals in the competition. The tournament took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 31 July to 7 August.
In the individual U-40 Open category, Myanmar’s Ko Kyi Myint won a silver medal, while in the U-50 Open category, he continued his strong performance by clinching a gold medal. Additionally, Aung Myint Myat excelled in the U-19 Open category, where he earned a silver medal.
A total of ten players represented Myanmar at the Butterfly & SISB Thailand Table Tennis Open, demonstrating the country’s growing prowess in the sport. The team’s achievements underscore their competitive spirit and skill on the international stage. — Arkar Linn/KZL
