Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation participating in Int’l Army Games-2022 in Russian Federation arrives back

Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation which participated in the International Army Games-2022 in the Russian Federation are welcomed back on their arrival back yesterday.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation which competed in the International Army Games-2022 held in Moscow of the Russian Federation arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. The delegation was welcomed back by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein, Tatmadaw members and families.
A total of 37 countries participated in the games which took place in 12 countries. The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation participated in the tank biathlon, sniper frontiers, military medical relay race, army of culture, emergency area, and third CISM world cadet games.
The tank troop of Myanmar Tatmadaw stood first in the tank biathlon (division-2) among 11 troops, fourth in the military medical relay race among 16 teams, fourth in the sniper frontiers among seven teams, seventh in the army of culture event among 17 troupes, fourth in the emergency area among six teams and eighth in the 3rd CISM World Cadet Games among 20 countries respectively.
Members of Myanmar Tatmadaw could raise the experiences of competitiveness, technological experiences and friendly relationships among international military organizations in the International Army Games-2022, and it decided to continue more competitions in the coming years. — MNA
