The Myanmar team departed from Yangon International Airport yesterday evening to participate in the Asia Junior Exchange Games 2024, to be held in Tokyo, Japan, from 27 August to 2 September.
The send-off was attended by Director U Kyaw Min Than of the Department of Sports and Physical Education, President U Aung Paing of the Myanmar Badminton Federation, President U Kyaw Kyaw of the Myanmar Table Tennis Federation, along with their respective officials, as well as parents and family members of the athletes.
The 20-member Myanmar team includes Vice-President U Tun Tun Oo of the Myanmar Badminton Federation, one badminton coach, and six badminton players. Also in the team are Vice-President U Aung Myat Kyaw of the Myanmar Table Tennis Federation, one Table tennis coach, and six table tennis players, along with one coach and one player from the para table tennis category. — Arkar Lin/TRKM
