Myanmar to compete in U-21 Asian Equestrian Show Jumping and Tent Pegging in India

Myanmar will participate in the Under-21 Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) Regional Group III Show Jumping and Tent Pegging training event in Hyderabad, India.
The Myanmar Equestrian Federation has announced that Myanmar athletes will compete in these events. To qualify for these competitions, the first qualifiers were held on 19 and 20 July 2024. The final qualification round took place on 7 and 8 September at the Nay Pyi Taw Equestrian Centre, where Maung Kyaw Wunna Aung of the Yangon Equestrian & Country Club (YECC) won first place in the Show Jumping event and Maung Aung Naing, also from YECC, won first place in Tent Pegging.
The U-21 Show Jumping competition is scheduled for October, while the Tent Pegging training will be held in November in Hyderabad. The Yangon Equestrian Subcommittee and the YECC honoured the athletes and coaches at a ceremony held on the evening of 9 September at the Golden Park Event Hall in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, Yangon Region. — Arkar Lin/KZL
