AT the invitation of Chinese Football Association (CFA), Myanmar U-21 national football team will participate in U-21 four-country invitation cup, the U-21 International Football Tournament, in China, from 4 to 8 September, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
The CFA has invited Uzbekistan U-21 team and Tajikistan U-21 team, along with Myanmar U-21, to play against host China U-21 team in the tournament.
In preparation for the 2019 ASEAN U-22 Championship, Asia U-23 Qualifications and 2019 SEA Games, the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has accepted an invitation from CFA to participate in the tournament, said an official.
Myanmar U-21 national team will be headed by its head coach U Kyi Lwin, and 25 footballers have been selected from Myanmar National League clubs, said an official from MFF. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
