Myanmar U-23 men’s football team will take on Kyrgyzstan team today in the Group B match of the 2024 Asian U-23 Qualifiers in South Korea.
Myanmar is in the tough group with host South Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Qatar. Team Myanmar match will begin at 1:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
Meanwhile, Qatar is playing against South Korea at 5:00 pm MST.
A press conference for the match was conducted yesterday and all coaches from the four teams joined the event.
Myanmar head coach U Aung Naing said, “During the trial with Shan United, the players have improved to a certain extent. The qualifying group position is difficult, but we will try our best. I believe the result and the performance of the players will be better.”
Qatar, who is in the same group as Myanmar, will host the final tournament, and since they have already qualified, the results of the Myanmar team’s meeting with that team will not count. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
