In preparation for the 2025 AFC U-20 Championship, the Myanmar U-20 football team will be travelling to Thailand this month for a series of friendly matches.
Originally scheduled to play five friendlies, the team will now face three opponents due to changes with some competing teams. The Myanmar U-20 squad will train in Thailand from 1 to 14 September. They will play against Bahrain U-20 on 5 September, the Thailand League 3 club Kamsambandit University on 9 September, and Cambodia U-20 on 13 September. Head coach U Aung Naing will lead the team and will feature a group of young and promising players. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
