Myanmar U-19 team wins both friendly matches against domestic team

The Myanmar U-19 team, which is preparing for the Asian Cup U-20 qualifiers, and the State & Region U-19 team, which is made up of talented players from the completed 2022 State & Region U-19 football tournament, held the second friendly match at Thuwunna Football Stadium in Yangon on 31 August.
They played the second match yesterday after the first match on 29 August, and the Myanmar U-19 team won both matches. The Myanmar U-19 team competed with a new starting lineup. The first half ended with a 1-1 score but the Myanmar U-19 team won the game after scoring more goals in the second half.
The winning goals for Myanmar national team were scored by Moe Swe at the 30-minute mark and Okkar Naing at 50 minutes.
The lone goal for State & Region team was scored by Saw Sira Phoe at the 45+1-minute mark. The Myanmar U-19 team is playing the friendly matches as a preliminary preparation for the 2023 Asian Cup U-20 qualifiers and won the first friendly match 2-0 as well. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
