Myanmar wins 2 silvers in 7th ASEAN Inline Freestyle Championships

Athletes from the Myanmar Skating Sports Federation have won two silver medals in the 7th ASEAN Inline Freestyle Championships held in Singapore from 8 to 15 March.
Myanmar players competed in Junior Battle Slide U-15 Women’s and Junior Battle Slide U-17 Men’s competitions.
A total of 30 players each competed in the Qualifiers, and Myanmar players qualified for the semifinals after passing the qualifiers.
In the final stage of the Junior Battle Slide U-15 Women’s competition, the Indonesian player won first place while Ma Pyae Pyae Phyo (alias) Hmwe Hmwe secured the second spot, and the Thai player bagged the third.
In the Junior Battle Slide U-17 Men’s competition, an Indonesian player won first place while Myanmar’s Maung Zwe Pyae Tun earned the second prize, and another Indonesian player got the third prize.
Head coach U Thet Khaing Oo from Myanmar Skating Sports Federation led the players: Maung Zwe Pyae Tun, Maung Htoo Lin Myat, and Ma Pyae Pyae Phyo (alias) Hmwe Hmwe during the tourney.
In addition to ASEAN countries, players from India, China Taipei, South Korea and Japan also competed in the competition. — Bala Soe/KZL
