Myanmar wins gold in 55th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship

Myanmar bodybuilders won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the 55th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships, held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 4 and 5 September.
Nyein Chan secured one gold medal for Myanmar in the Men’s Sports Physique (up to 175 centimetres) event while Hein Htet Zaw picked one silver in the Under-21 (75 kilogrammes) event.
Next, Ye Htun Naung garnered one silver medal in the 70-kg event and Aye Thanda Khaing earned one bronze medal in the Senior Women’s Athletic Physique (up to 165 cm) event.
In the Senior Women’s Model Physique (up to 160 cm) event, Mi Mi Kyaw Naing gained the fourth place while Pyae Phyo made another fourth for the Men’s 55-kg event and Maung Maung Myint stood as fifth in the Men’s 65-kg category. — Bala Soe/KZL
