Myanmar women’s football team play domestic matches

The Myanmar women’s team, which is under training for the 2022 ASEAN Women’s Championship, is playing domestic tune-up matches in preparation for the tournament.
The Myanmar women’s national team has been playing domestic matches since 17 June and will play up to four matches and has already played two matches. The Myanmar women’s national team is playing a friendly match according to the group stage fixtures of the ASEAN Championship.
On 21 June, they played against Myanmar U-18 Women’s (A) Team and won by dozens of goals.
The Myanmar women’s team will play two more friendly matches on 23 and 25 June, with the last match scheduled to be played against the youth men’s team.
The Myanmar women’s team is currently taking training with 30 preliminary players and captain Khin Malar Tun, who is currently playing for a Thai club, has rejoined the team.
The 2022 ASEAN Women’s Championship will be held in the Philippines from 4 to 17 July.
Myanmar will face Viet Nam, Timor-Leste, Laos and Cambodia in Group B. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
