Myanmar women’s team to play friendlies abroad ahead of Paris Olympic qualifiers

The Myanmar women’s national team will compete in overseas warm-up matches ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics Asia Zone First Qualifiers to be played in April.
The Myanmar women’s national team has been training since the second week of December for the international competitions to compete this year.
The Myanmar Football Federation is planning to play a friendly match for the Myanmar national women’s team, which will compete against a national team from the Asian region.
The women’s squad will play an international friendly in February or March. The team is made up of 35 preliminary players and is handled by Daw Thet Thet Win as the head coach.
The Myanmar women’s national team is placed in the same group as Iran, Bangladesh, and Maldives in the qualifiers which will be held from 3 to 11 April.
The Myanmar women’s team will compete in the Paris Olympic qualifiers in April and the SEA Games in May. After half a year, if they succeed in the ASEAN Women’s Championship and the first stage of the Paris Olympics, they will continue to compete in the second and third-stage qualifiers. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
