Myanmar women’s team to start friendly matches on 29 April

The Myanmar women’s soccer team, taking a training in South Korea in preparation for the 31st SEA Games, will start a friendly match on 29 April.
The team has been taking a training in South Korea for about two weeks and will play three friendly matches from 29 April to 3 May.
The Myanmar women’s team will play against South Korea U-20 national team on 29 April, Seoul City Women’s Club on 1 May and the South Korea U-20 youth team on 3 May.
The Myanmar women’s team left for South Korea on 24 April to prepare for the SEA Games and will start its training on 25 April. The Myanmar women’s team will take a train in South Korea until the first week of May and travel directly to Viet Nam for the SEA Games.
The women’s team includes goalkeepers May Zin Nwe, Zue Latt Nadi, Myo Mya Mya Nyein, defenders Khin Than Wai, Khin Myo Chit, Chit Chit, Aye Aye Moe, Phyu Phyu Win, Zun Yuya Oo, Nant Zue Zue Htet, midfielders Khin Malar Tun, Khin Moh Moh Tun, Thin Thin Yu, Khin Moe Wai, Naw Htet Htet Wai, Khaing Thazin, Lin Myint Moh, Pont Pont Pyae Maung and strikers San Thaw Thaw, Myat Noe Khin, July Kyaw and Win Theingi Tun.
Head Coach U Tin Myint Aung will handle the team.
Team authorities have selected 22 players for the trip, but Win Theingi Tun, who plays for Indian club Gokulam, will only be able to join the team just before the SEA Games. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
