Myanmar Women’s U-20 team to take training in Japan ahead of Asian qualifiers

The Myanmar Women’s U-20 team will travel to Japan for 10 days of training with the support of AYA Bank to prepare for the second-round qualifiers of the 2024 Asian Women’s U-20 Championship, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
Team Myanmar will make their special training at J Village National Training Centre in Fukushima from 19 to 27 May.
During the training period, it is also planned to play two friendly matches with the connection of Uki Tetsuro, the technical adviser of the Myanmar national women’s teams.
The Myanmar girls’ squad is resuming training programmes starting from the last week of March for the second round qualifiers after the first round of qualifications in March. The second round of Asian qualifiers will be hosted by Myanmar in June.
Team Myanmar is falling in the same group as China, Nepal, and China Taipei. Myanmar will take on Nepal on 6 June, China Taipei on 8 June, and China on 10 June during the second-round qualifiers. All team Myanmar matches will start at 6:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time, the MFF stated. — KZL
