Myanmar’s Tun Min Aung wins ONE Friday Fights 70

The ONE Friday Fights 70 tournament organized by the ONE Championship ran on 12 July in Bangkok, Thailand, and Myanmar fighter Tun Min Aung won the bout.
Tun Min Aung fought against Vietnamese fighter Tuan Quoc Tran and won by technical knockout in the third round. The young Myanmar fighter had his best fight since the start of the bout. The result of this match was crucial as he was defeated in his first bout after working with ONE Championship. Although there was no difference in fighting ability between the two, Tun Min Aung’s elbow shot at one minute and one second of the third stanza made the Vietnamese fighter unable to continue the fight, and Tun Min Aung won.
For Tun Min Aung’s victory by knockout, he received an additional bonus of 350,000 Thai baht from ONE Championship organization CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Tun Min Aung is also the brother of Myanmar Lethwei star Tun Tun Min and ONE Friday Fights Myanmar fighter Tun Min Naing (aka) Sulaiman. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
