Myawaddy Bank Ltd opens its 65th branch in Thayet, Magway Region

An opening ceremony for the Myawaddy Bank Limited (Thayet branch) was held yesterday morning in the bank branch compound in Thayet Town, Magway Region. The ceremony was graced by Central Command Deputy Commander Brig-Gen Aung Khin Zaw and party, departmental heads, officials from the Myawaddy Banks Ltd, and other invited guests.
First, Central Command Deputy Commander Brig-Gen Aung Khin Zaw, Central Command Operations Commander Col Kyaw Sein Tun, Thayet Station Commander Col Htay Myint, Thayet District Acting Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Maung and Myawaddy Bank Ltd, Managing Director U Yu Lwin cut the ceremonial ribbons. Then Central Command Deputy Commander pressed a button to unveil the Myawaddy Bank Ltd, (Thayet branch) signboard, sprinkled scented water on the inscription of the bank and inspected the bank branch together with guests in attendance.
The Myawaddy Bank Limited (Thayet branch) is one the 65th bank branches and is situated at Plot No 2, corner of the Trader and the Annyeint roads, Zay Ward, Thayet Town, Magway Region.
The bank was opened with the aim of fostering socio-economic development of Thayet Town, Magway Region and rendering a variety of banking services in order to assist in current account, saving account, fixed account, deposit account, scholarship bank account, ATM account, bank loan account, insurance loans, money transfer linking with the Myanma Economic Bank, mobile banking and internet banking acting as a modern banking.—MNA
