Myawaddy FC embarasses Gandamar FC with 14-0 win in KBZ Bank Women’s League

Myawaddy FC trounced Gandamar FC by a lopsided score of 14-0 yesterday in the third match of week 12 of the KBZ Bank Women’s League 2016-2017 yesterday at Padonmar Stadium in Yangon.
One Myawaddy player scored eight goals and another scored five goals in the unequal affair.
Myawaddy FC exhibited solid ball handling throughout the match and also kept the pressure on Gandamar defenders by using alternately slow and fast playing styles.
Myawaddy’s lineup included stars from the national women team, including Win Theingi Tun and May Sabei Oo. Yupar Khaing scored at 17 minutes, 19 minutes, 27 minutes 28 minutes and 52 minutes.
Win Theingi Tun scored at 21,32,44,59,71,75,81 and 85 minutes. May Sabei Oo scored at the 78-minute mark.
Myawaddy FC’s depth at all positions made it difficult for their opponents to score.
After playing 10 matches of week 12, Myawaddy FC stands in first position of the standings with 34 points.—Kyaw Zin Lin
