Myeik Township to get 25-bed traditional medicine hospital

A ceremony to drive stakes for construction of a 25-bed traditional medicine hospital was held at the designated plot in Myeik, Taninthayi Region, on 26 November.
Head of Taninthayi Region Traditional Medicine Department U Soe Myint, Deputy Commissioner of Myeik District U Aung Kyaw Tun and officials drove stakes for construction of the building.
The hospital will be a one-storey building measuring 124 feet long and 64 feet wide. Moreover, a four-storey staff quarters will also be built. Myeik Public Corporation Ltd is carrying out construction of the buildings, spending K547.664 million funded by the government.
